BBQ/BOATING COMMUNITY SERVICE FUN EVENT

On Sunday 1st February 2009, the annual BBQ/Boating event for a group of autistic children and their families is taking place at Albert Sailing Club. This partnership between Albert Sailing Club and Kiwanis Bayside e-Club is very appreciated by MOiRA Interchange Southern organisation in Victoria. In late January last year we had the pleasure of hosting this 11-4 event for the first time for MOiRA families, and the organisation asked us to make it an annual event with different families attending each time. What a joy we all have seeing the autistic children, their siblings, parents and carers enjoying such wonderful time on Albert Park Lake and lunch on the Albert Sailing Club terrace overlooking the beautiful lake scenery.
