Our Vision

To involve more volunteers in a broad range of community service right across Australia, by alleviating, via the Internet, personal barriers and isolation, and replenishing inability of physically attending club meetings.

Our Mission

To reach out far and wide, giving assistance and support to children and their families, the elderly, the underprivileged, the sick, the homeless, isolated communes, and those afflicted by natural disasters.

Our Club Chat Room "Meetings"

Club Meetings are held in the electronic chat room via this website, twice monthly, on the first and third MONDAY, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm AEST.

The meeting starting time schedule for each State  States and t s        and Territory in Australia is as follows:

  • 7.30pm: ACT. NSW. QLD. TAS. and VIC.

  • 7.00pm: SA. and NT.

  • 5.30pm: WA.      

Our Club Board Chat Room "Meetings"

Club Board meetings are held every second Thursday each month.

New Members are Welcome

A much discounted Joining Fee is available between now and 31 August 2009.

Computer-literate people, 18 years and over, willing to make a difference and improve the quality of life for the less fortunate, are invited to join this Kiwanis Australia first and only Community Service Internet Club. 

Hands-on volunteer work and fundraising for specific causes occur both locally in own neighbourhood, and in one's State or Territory. These are opportunities for face-to-face interaction among Kiwanis Bayside Internet Club members. Members also benefit from a wider and more diverse circle of friends, communicating with each other via the e-Club's secure Chat Room and Forum Foyer anytime, whenever and wherever they have access to the Internet, be it global or local.

Login Names and Passwords, supplied and registered for each Visitor and Guest by the Website Administrator, are used for both Chat Room and Forum Foyer. Entry is via Members Webpage on this, the e-Club's Website.

Temporary Login Names and Passwords: Club Rules

  • Guests' and Visitors' Sign-on Access to Members area on  Kiwanis Bayside e-Club's Website is restricted to a short time before and after a visit by invitation only.

  • Prospective Members are allowed Access for two months during which time they may decide to join Bayside e-Club Membership.

  • Travelling Members from other Kiwanis Clubs may participate in the Club Chat Room Meetings, and enjoy 24hrs/7days online contact with our Members. Please apply to the Club President for permission. A temporary Login Name and Password to use while travelling will be allocated by the Web Administrator. There is an Access fee of $40 per year, for Kiwanis Bayside e-Club's administration purposes.

Prospective  Membership Information:

  • Kiwanis Bayside Internet Club is the only alternative for those who are not available for a club near 'home', 'work', or 'university'.

  • Discounted Membership Dues are available all year for family members and members aged between 18 and 25.

  • The Prospective Membership Invitation Form may be downloaded and printed from the webpage listed last on left side panel above. Reference: 'Prospective Membership Invitation Form'.

  • The Form may be saved as an attachment, filled in, then forwarded to the Club Secretary at: secretary@e-kiwanisbayside.org.au

  • If you prefer to join a traditional Kiwanis club in your area, please log on to the Kiwanis Australia website: www.kiwanis.org.au

  • A valid National Police Check certificate is required for all new members.
